“It’s demonic.”

Laura Ingram, Fox “News” Contributor

Conservatives on both sides of the border, including many local Welland-based goblins, lost their collective shits over the random happening of Christianity’s “Easter weekend” having the audacity to encroach on the far more paramount Trans Day of Visibility.

American political commentator, David Pakman

More about the TDOV:

International Transgender Day of Visibility (often referred to as TDOV or Trans Day of Visibility) is an annual event occurring every March 31 since 2009 dedicated to celebrating transgender people and raising awareness of discrimination faced by transgender people worldwide, as well as a celebration of their contributions to society. The first International Transgender Day of Visibility was held on March 31, 2009. It has since been spearheaded by the U.S.-based youth advocacy organization Trans Student Educational Resources.

The event was created by transgender activist Rachel Crandall Crocker of Michigan in 2009 as a reaction to the lack of LGBTQ+ recognition of transgender people, citing the frustration that the only well-known transgender-centred day was the Transgender Day of Remembrance, which mourned the murders of transgender people but did not acknowledge and celebrate living members of the transgender community.

“They clearly want us to bow at the alter of the trans community instead to bow to god.”

Lisa Boothe, Fox “News” Contributor

How can we bow to our ‘very real and definitely not made up god’ when the radical trans cabal, also ‘very real and definitely not made up,’ is demanding that we bow to them?” Thoughts actually deftly slalomed their way through the mostly unoccupied heads of some transphobic Christian bigots this year as they conveniently forgot the “love thy neighbour” parts of their bible while they crushed shrimp hard.

Damn it! “Is it too much to ask that Christians get their own day of visibility!” Notwithstanding the other 364 days of the year, they so conveniently claimed as their own – without asking me.

In all seriousness, I am extending my deepest sympathies to all the Christians out there who had their easter (I wanna say, “parties”?) cancelled because the “radical trans cabal” (that secretly runs the government, oh no, I’ve said too much) and had all the churches closed and cancelled all the chocolate bunny sales at local Dollar Generals this year. Ah, the age-old tradition of ‘grooming children with empty calories,’ yet another commandment ripped straight from the creep handbook.

“And the transgender community purposely chooses the day of Jesus’ death or ressurection whatever Easter Weekend is.”

Jesse Waters, Fox “News” Contributor

What an absolutely strained controversy. This news cycle, sponsored by nameless billionaires and foreign bad actors to sow division, is designed to gaslight easily gullible stooges to further divide and marginalize the trans community.

I would take this coincidental overlap more seriously if one person could point out how they’re celebrating some Christian mythology was in any way impacted by the trans day of visibility. No? No one?

To avoid this from happening again, and I’m just putting this out there, if you’re going to invent some “holiday,” make sure you do it on a day that we haven’t already claimed. Stop trying to force your beliefs down our throats.

The real reason the transphobic Christian bigots took umbrage with this year’s TDOV:

It’s absurd … and Joe Biden should be ashamed of himself. And all these people say, ‘ya, but this is the day we’ve always recognized transgender visibility day.’ Well recognize it another day, not on Easter Sunday. It’s an affront to the bible, and quite frankly, it’s an affront to biology. There are two genders. People can’t just go in and out of one like a revolving door. It’s not normal.
